Undersecretary Mana Ahmed of the Ministry of International Cooperation and 13 delegates from Egypt paid a visit to the International Center of the National Pension Service (NPS) on February 27 2015.
The visit was carried out as part of the Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP*) at the request of the Egyptian delegate and the Korea Institute of Public Administration.
The NPS presented the implementation, expansion, and the know-hows of the operation of the national pension scheme as well as the National Pension Fund management. The delegation was particularly interested in the fund management and asked a detailed questions ranging from the governance to decision making process of the Fund Investment Office.
The head of the delegation, Undersecretary Ahmed thanked the NPS for the chance to better understand Korea’s national pension system and fund management and stated “hope to explore more opportunities to enhance exchanges between the two countries going forward.”

A new paradigm of development cooperation which aims to share Korea’s development know-how, assisting the partner countries and working towards lessening the knowledge divide.
